Omega-4 and Trump International teams take pro am honours

DUBAI — Ladies European Tour rookie Nuria Iturrios led her Omega-4 team to victory in the Morning Pro Am as the Trump International, Dubai, team called the shots in the afternoon session of the Dubai Ladies Masters’ traditional curtain-raiser at Emirates Golf Club on Tuesday.

The Omega-4 team, which included amateurs Gurbax Singh, Randeep Singh, Gurinder Singh, returned a brilliant score of 23-under-par, beating the EGA-2 team, spearheaded by France’s Gwladys Nocera-Pucet, by a good three shots.

The Motivate Publishing team, comprising professional Kelsey MacDonald and amateurs Kent Gray, Ryan Hunter, Hayan Mujarkech, settled for third.

In the afternoon, Sarah Kemp guided the Trump International, Dubai, to a narrow victory on a countback over the Wasl-1 team after the teams shot matching 19-under-pars as Gulf News-1 team finished third a further two shots adrift.
